Outdoorsmen Rules and stuff

February 22nd, 2006

There seem to be a few people on the forum who want to know about the rules for the Outdoorsmen. I thought I would share how we run our little event and maybe this information will be helpful to anyone who is looking to create their own little annual outdoor beer drinking adventure (I’m not sure if I should have hyphenated ‘beer-drinking’? If you have any insight on the proper use of the hyphen, then please share. I always thought if it was modifying a word, in this case the word ‘adventure’, then it should be hyphenated. I would really like to know if I’m right on this. Perhaps the gracious hosts of this site could create a forum or message board devoted entirely to the proper use of the hyphen? If any of you agree, then please contact the site administrators and ask…no, strike that, DEMAND that they create a forum about hyphen use and more specifically how it relates to the term ‘beer drinking adventure’.)

Well, I apologize because initially I intended to use this post to discuss the Outdoorsmen and its rules and other information but I have to admit I’ve been thrown off by this hyphen situation.

Absolutely magical … I miss NYC everyday and being there with a movie only makes it better. The Q&A that followed Saturday night’s screening was reeeeeelaxed and cool. Exec Prod Nic (Kitty) Kalikow bought drinks for anyone who asked what he felt qualified as “a good question.” Peep me with some of the Questioneers.

We are pushing for a return engagement. Hopefully hitting Brooklyn next time.

THANK YOU NEW YORK CITY.
