Innovator, Maverick, Ninja of the Cinema; these are just a few of the terms used to describe independent filmmaker Scott Allen Perry… used mostly by himself, yet used nonetheless.
With several short films and music videos under his belt, and the hilarious feature documentary The Outdoorsmen: Blood, Sweat, & Beers, Scott is on a personal mission, a quest, to force Hollywood to make better movies.
Writer/Director/Producer/Actor/Composer is a hell of a lot of slashes to attribute to one name. But Scott “THESAP” Perry continues to turn out high quality entertainment in every slash attributed to his namesake.

Hollywood Movies - “If I took a dump, and it was a GREAT dump… I mean one of the best dumps ever taken. Aroma, color, texture… everything that makes a great dump great was there. Then I REMADE that dump using an all new set of meals and beverages, what I would really be doing is just recycling the original great dump I took. In essence, giving you the same shit over and over again, without making any real effort to improve that original dump. I could take time to try and improve on all the elements that made the original so good. For example, aroma could be improved with a fine cabbage, texture with selecting a variety of whole kernel corn and so on. BUT WHY SHOULD I? I own that dump! That dump is mine to do with what I please. And if I saturate the advertising market with all the follow-up dumps, the TV show, sequels, and remakes based on the original, then everyone who like the first one will pay to see the others. This is the business of Hollywood. Giving you a bunch of shit that they made out of stuff they already own because it’s guaranteed to turn a profit. Instead of creating anything new, they recycled the crap they have lying around and put ZERO effort into its creation and 100% effort into marketing it. That’s not the kind of dump I want coming out of my ass!”
